New sections this year

Frieze London adds "The Code Universe," curated by Carol Yinghua Lu, featuring artists including Carolyn Lazard, Selma Selman, and Shinro Ohtake, focused on work that responds to social transformation through mass culture and media. Frieze Masters introduces "Queering Modernism: Visual Languages of the 20th Century," conceived by Anke Kempkes. Returning sections include Artist-to-Artist at Frieze London and Reflections and Spotlight at Frieze Masters, and emerging artists and younger galleries have been placed closer to the entrance this year.

Frieze Sculpture, free to the public

If you cannot justify a ticket to the main fairs, Frieze Sculpture is free and runs well beyond fair week — September 16 through November 1, 2026, in The Regent's Park, with 11 artists including Angel Otero, Conrad Shawcross, Tarini Sethi, and Ivana Bašić. It is a genuinely good way to spend an afternoon in London even if you skip the ticketed fairs entirely.
